CORPORATE FUNCTIONS Host your function in one of southern Ontario's most idyllic settings. Whether its a small company meeting, a seminar for 500, a dinner for 30 or 300, a trade show or a special fundraising event RBG can customize the setting to suit your needs. Our facilities are available year-round, from early in the morning to late at night.
Royal Botanical Gardens' impressive surroundings, excellent restaurant and catering, and quality audio-visual equipment combine to make your function comfortable and professional. Book your corporate function PRIVATE FUNCTIONS RBG’s facilities accommodate a wide range of occasions. The auditorium comfortably holds 300 people using tables and chairs or 450 people sitting in lecture style. The Auditorium can be split with a retractable wall for smaller functions. Available props include staging, various microphones, overhead and slide projectors, screens, TV-VCR unit, and flip charts. Book your private function
Reception Royal Botanical Gardens has two venues to hold your wedding reception: The Gardens' Cafe The Café hosts receptions, complete with dance floor and outdoor courtyard, and can comfortably accommodate 80 to 120 guests. The Auditorium The Auditorium can easily seat 120 to 300 guests with enough space for a dance floor. The foyer, just outside the Auditorium, is a beautiful setting for your cocktail hour. Book your wedding reception Ceremony Hold your ceremony at the same location as your reception! Royal Court Royal Court is a private, outdoor area that seats up to 140 guests. Its colourful plants and ornamental pond provide a quaint garden setting for your function. A canopy provides shade and protection from light rain. Atrium A grand area for your special day that seats up to 120 guests. Available from November to April. Hendrie Park Gardens, Rose Garden Tent Imagine your ceremony under a tent in the Rose Garden. What could be more romantic? The Rose Garden tent is available from May to October. Book your wedding ceremony Photography The colourful array of blooms is a beautiful backdrop for your wedding photos. Our spectacular outdoor gardens are available from April to October. The most popular sites are Rose Garden and the Rock Garden (click here to see a few photos). Space in our gardens is available for $180. Up to 20 people can take part in the photography sessions.
