Sunday, March 26 - Around the Bay Race Road Closure Notice: Please be advised that York Blvd. will be closed and a segment of Plains Rd. W. will be reduced to one lane for the Around the Bay Road Race. RBG Centre remains open but the Rock Garden and Rock Garden Bistro will not open until 1:30 p.m. Increased traffic congestion is expected during the race.

Here at Royal Botanical Gardens, we understand that donating is an extremely personal decision. Gifts come in all shapes and sizes. Find out below about the ways you can contribute to RBG.

Donate Online

Use the buttons below to donate to our Growing Up Green (greatest need) fund, or learn more about RBG’s other giving programs.

Make a one-time online donation

Use our secure online payment processor to make you one-time gift by credit card. You will receive your confirmation, thank you and income tax receipt immediately. 

Become a monthly donor online

Use our secure online system to setup monthly, recurring gifts on your credit card. At the end of the year, you will be mailed a consolidated tax receipt totaling the sum of donations made throughout the year.

Making a contribution by phone or mail

Legacy Giving Program

There are additional ways to make a gift through donating securities, leaving a gift in your Will, giving through RRSPs/RRIFs/TSFAs and through an insurance policy. 

Support RBG by hosting a Fundraising Event

Are you passionate about RBG and do you love to plan and host events? Consider hosting a virtual or in-person event to help raise funds and awareness for RBG! Simply fill out our Third-Party Events Application and one of RBG’s Development Staff will be in touch.

Donating Property Other than Cash (Gifts-in-Kind)

Gifts-in-kind, also referred to as in-kind donations are contributions of goods. Items such as books, artwork, gardening equipment and more can be given to RBG in exchange for a tax-receipt at fair market value or appraised value. Services can be donated by way of a cheque exchange. Semi-annually (in June and December), RBG reviews application and will contact interested parties who wish to donate items or services. If you have an item or a service you wish to donate, please review our gift-in-kind policy and compete our gift-in-kind form.
