The Tea House is located in the heart of the innovated Rose Garden in Hendrie Park, RBG’s largest garden area. Hendrie Park has something for everyone; this garden truly illustrates the diversity of both plants and garden design.

At Royal Botanical Gardens, we believe in being stewards of our environment and partners in our community. We source local products (including our own garden produce), partner with local farms and dairies as well as use eco-friendly, sustainable products throughout the facility and grounds.

Where is the Turner Pavilion Tea House Located?
The tea house is located in Hendrie Park; enter at RBG Centre, 680 Plains Road W.
Parking is available on-site, included in your visit.
Is the Tea House/Garden accessible?
The Tea House at the Turner Pavilion in Hendrie Park is fully accessible. Access to Hendrie Park is through the main doors of RBG Centre, descending through the Atrium via stairs or an elevator.
All garden paths are either paved, or made of finely packed gravel, suitable for wheelchairs and walkers meant for outdoor use. Areas with stairs can be accessed by travelling around that garden area to where sloped paths are available.
For convenience RBG has a limited number of wheelchairs available for loan. Wheelchairs are available on a first come basis and may not be reserved in advance. It is recommended guests bring their own wheelchairs.
Accessible parking spaces are available outside RBG Centre.

Are reservations required?
Reservations are highly recommended to avoid disappointment. Walk-ins accepted based only on availability.
Is admission required to access the Tea House?
Guests with a Tea House reservation will be granted access to Hendrie Park at the time of their reservation, no additional admission required. Please present your OpenTable confirmation upon entry.
If you choose to explore the gardens prior to, or after your reservation, please visit the admissions desk to purchase full garden admission, or purchase online.
Is there a benefit for Members?
RBG Members receive 10% off their meal at RBG’s three on-site restaurants. To qualify for a discount, please show your membership card while ordering.
Can I book with a large group / rent out the full space?
The Teahouse is a very small space; for a standard daytime visit, the teahouse is unable to accommodate groups larger than 8.
Interested in renting the teahouse for your occasion? Here are some important things to know:
- Maximum of 35 people
- Bookings required at least 3 months prior
- Only full-day buyouts are possible; half-day / partial rentals are currently unavailable.
