A Special Membership Message from RBG’s Board Chair
During these unprecedented times we hope that you and your family are safe and healthy.
We miss you! You are an important part of the RBG family and play a significant part in achieving our mission of bringing together plants, people and place.
My wife Toni and I have been members for over 20 years. It has been rewarding to see the organization grow from 10,000 members to over 20,000 members. Membership is integral to the success of this organization and must continue to flourish. To encourage everyone to renew their membership now we have decided to make an extra donation. For every membership renewal made now, Toni and I will be donating $10 to the RBG, up to a maximum of $25,000.
We are happy to be making this donation to not only ensure membership continues to grow, but to support RBG’s COVID 19 Sustainability Fund. This fund supports children’s education, offering our new RBG at Home Initiative, which includes resources, activities and virtual programming for students, teachers, families and lifelong learners.
Please consider joining us and renew your membership today and support the future sustainability of RBG, including the new online educational programing that is being offered for free to everyone during the current health crisis.
The Board of Directors and management of RBG want to assure our members that upon re-opening, we will be extending all currently active and renewed memberships to cover the period of closure. We will be updating all members with specifics once normal operations have resumed.
Thank you for your continued support of RBG.
With sincere thanks,
Cliff Carson, Chair
RBG Board of Directors
