Ready, set, grow! RBG's Seed Library
Now open for the season
All life needs plants. RBG is dedicated to connecting people to plants. Our seed library is one way we nurture that connection. We provide seeds that you borrow, grow, and then return.
If you are new to gardening, interested in growing a greater diversity of plants, or invested in supporting a community of growers, our seed library will help you meet those goals.
Taste of the Gardens
With two restaurants on-site, Royal Botanical Gardens is your destination for dishes inspired by fresh, seasonal ingredients.
At the Greenhouse Café inside RBG Centre you’ll find fresh, seasonal ingredients on a new menu that incorporates local produce, meats and cheeses and features wines and craft brews exclusive to Ontario.
Situated at the historic David Braley and Nancy Gordon Rock Garden, RBG’s Rock Garden Bistro features a French-inspired menu that boasts fresh, locally sourced ingredients, many picked straight from our gardens!
Courses & Workshops
RBG offers courses and workshops in Burlington & Hamilton for families, kids and adults in the areas of gardening, nature, botanical arts and wellness.
From award-winning children’s clubs to our popular children’s gardening programs and special seasonal workshops, kids of all ages grow with us.
Special Events
RBG hosts events year-round, from blooms experiences, to performing arts, to holiday celebrations, and more!
Many special events require tickets (separate from Garden Admission or Membership). Please check the event details before planning your visit.
