Labour Action Programming

10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; RBG Centre

Should your school be impacted by strike action, RBG is offering two opportunities to keep your kids busy and learning.

Additional Daytime Programming for Wildlife Rescue

We're adding more Wildlife Rescue programming to the schedule for Tuesday January 21, including Turtle Talks and two Outdoor Walks! Come visit our Winter Exhibit and experience wildly educational family fun.

About the Exhibit

Discovery Days (single-day camp ages 4-13)

RBG's Discovery Days offer age-appropriate opportunities for education, fun, and exploration in the outdoors. Your child can expect to spend the majority of their day outside, connecting to the natural world through exploration and hands-on activities. Participants will experience our award-winning environmental education programs through games, exploration of our Arboretum, nature hikes, and warm up by a campfire as they swap stories about their day. Space is limited, pre-registration required.

Program for Ages 4-13 years old; children will be grouped by age as able and participate in age appropriate activities.

$40 per day per child plus applicable fees. Extended care is $10 per day per child. No RBG Member discount applicable.

Program Time: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Extended care available beginning at 8 a.m. and through until 5:30 p.m. for $10 per day per child.

Location: The Arboretum and Nature Interpretive Centre: 16 Old Guelph Road in Hamilton, Ontario.

Please note the daily events / activities listed here may be located in different garden areas from other events occuring on the same day. Please check the location in each listing, and consider travel time between gardens when creating your schedule for the day. Parking and Directions
