RBG is pleased to welcome special guests to share their passion and expertise. Join us on Sundays for a new guest speaker each week. (Recommended ages 8+, 20 minutes, Saturdays only). Find this activity at RBG Centre; location varies. Specific location provided when you arrive.

Tuesday March 17: When wildlife needs a Helping Hand Chantal Theijn, Hobbitstee. Hobbitstee Wildlife Refuge was founded 12 years ago out of a need for a rural rehabilitation facility able to house larger wildlife. It has since grown into a facility which rehabilitates 3000 wild animals annually. Chantal is the founder and current Authorized Wildlife Custodian of Hobbitstee as well as the head of the board of directors. Hobbitstee is an all volunteer registered charity and despite being overseen by the government receives no government funding.

Parking and Directions

RBG cosists of four formal gardens contained within 1,100 hectares of nature reserve. Parking is available at the various garden areas and trailheads.
