History of Hendrie Park Heritage Walk

Saturday June 1

11 a.m. and 2 p.m.; Hendrie Park

Meet in the Tunnel to Hendrie Park.

Come explore the history of Hendrie Park. Learn about the history of RBG’s most popular garden area and hear the stories of the people who have changed this landscape and left their mark. Features included are the Hendrie Gates, the Martimas Memorial Stone, and the Helen M. Kippax Garden.

The walk will start and end at the Tunnel to Hendrie Park and will take around 45-60 minutes. The route is mostly be on paved or turfed garden areas. Please ensure that you are dressed for the weather.

Parking and Directions

RBG cosists of four formal gardens contained within 1,100 hectares of nature reserve. Parking is available at the various garden areas and trailheads.
