Jane’s Walk Hamilton: The ‘Dirt’ on Princess Point

Dive deep into history and get the dirt on Princess Point! Join Royal Botanical Gardens’ Christie Brodie as she takes you on a journey to learn about the landscape of Princess Point and Cootes Paradise Marsh from the past, the present, and looking towards the future!

Meet at the Princess Point Trailhead for this 1-hour, 1.5 km free, guided walk on some of RBG’s 27 km of trails. This walk will go into our Nature Sanctuaries, and will be on un-even packed-earth trails.

In the event of inclement weather or uncertain conditions (high winds, ice, extreme windchill, heavy rain, thunderstorms or hazardous driving conditions), please check our Program Update Line at 905-527-1158 ext. 404 one to two hours before the start time to see if the walk has been cancelled. Updates are also posted on Facebook and Twitter.

Please note the daily events / activities listed here may be located in different garden areas from other events occuring on the same day. Please check the location in each listing, and consider travel time between gardens when creating your schedule for the day. Parking and Directions

RBG cosists of four formal gardens contained within 1,100 hectares of nature reserve. Parking is available at the various garden areas and trailheads.
