Enjoy a delicious brunch complemented by the tranquility of our historic Rock Garden and the sweet sounds of live jazz. Afterwards, head over to RBG Centre and experience our latest winter exhibit, The Big Freeze. Reservations Required.

Patrick Hewan

Patrick Hewan is a rising star in the Toronto Jazz scene whose energetic, virtuosic playing captivates and moves his audiences. Drawing on the vast vocabulary of the legendary jazz pianists who came before him he adds his own spirit and passion to create a unique sound and style. Patrick began studying classical piano at the age of four and was later introduced to the saxophone where he developed a great love for jazz.  Patrick was recently rated one of BlogTo’s top 5 upcoming jazz artists in Toronto. He is working on his soon to be released debut album that should be hitting shelves in 2017.

 

Don Campbell

Don Campbell is a highly skilled jazz musician and graduate of the Humber College Jazz Guitar Program. He is a prolific writer and arranger of his own original music and collaborates with others. From his home studio, he helped compose and arrange original music for ‘Shark City’ for the 2009 Toronto International Film Festival. Don's guitar style envelopes rock, blues and jazz and reminds listeners of the greats of all three genres. He recently self-produced his first album, FREEDOM, which contains 9 original tributes to love and compassion for oneself and others. Don's message is to follow your heart, enjoy life to its fullest, find out who you are and share that person with the world.

Lady Be Good

Lady Be Good's is a collection of modern pop, classic jazz and soulful RnB. Lady Be Good is led by vocalist Kat Langdon and features some of the best musicians the city has to offer. Every member of the band is a working professional musician bringing their individual experience and artistry to the group.

Lady Be Good started in August 2013 as a small project of vocalist and bandleader, Kat Langdon. Together with George Chenery (bass), Ewen Farncombe (keyboard) and Louis Baranyi-Irvine (drums), the band has quickly grown into one of the most sought-after acts in the city.
