Royal Botanical Gardens is grateful to those in the healthcare community that have been working tirelessly to keep their communities safe in the fight against COVID-19.
UPDATE: we are glad to announce this offer will be extended through Thanksgiving Weekend (previously Labour Day)
As a token of our appreciation we are pleased to offer the tranquility of our gardens as a place of respite and are providing FREE general admission to all essential healthcare and emergency workers, as well as 25% off general admission to their guests, through Thanksgiving.
Essential healthcare and emergency service workers can also enjoy the beauty of RBG year-round by purchasing a discounted membership and receive 14 months of all Royal Botanical Gardens has to offer for the price of a 12-month membership.
We ask that all visitors provide identification (medical, government, military or relief organization) at purchase. The offer is valid from July 17 through September 7. This discount must be redeemed in person and is not available for pre-purchased online tickets. The offer is not valid for separate ticket, special events or in conjunction with other discounted offers.
NOTE: General Admission includes access to RBG’s garden areas during regular hours. Certain events / activities may require special event tickets.
How do I redeem this offer?
The offer is valid for in-person transactions only. Upon arrival, essential healthcare and emergency service workers simply provide identification from a relevant medical, government, military or relief organization.
What is the address / directions for each garden area?
Please note RBG’s four formal garden areas are located within 3 km of each other. Driving between garden areas is recommended. For new visitors, please see the full property map.

Is there a time-limit to my visit?
Visitors are encouraged to limit their visit to a one-hour per garden area maximum in order to give others the opportunity to experience the beauty of Royal Botanical Gardens.
Can I purchase / renew my membership on site?
Membership representatives will be available to assist you at the entrance of RBG Centre during our altered hours of operation (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
Will any activities / tours be available during my visit?
At this time, tours and discovery programming will not be available. Check out the on-site signage to learn more about select collections!
