Aaron Bowers Trio

Aaron Bowers is a local Hamilton saxophone player who has been performing and teaching in the city for well over ten years now. He is a graduate of the local Mohawk Music program, as well as the Humber Music Performance Degree program in Toronto. He regularly performs with local bands Momentum, Funkhaus, the Royal Canadian Navy band, and many local jazz groups and combos. Aaron has taught hundreds of students across the GTA, and now spends most of his nights at KAOS music in Oakville.

Reno Silva

Reno returns to the Jazz Brunch series with his Latin style of music. A trained practitioner on guitar, Reno brings the sound of accoustic and percussion together to RBG for his first show with us. Songwriter, guitarist and singer, Reno will have you longing for more with his style of instrumental Latin / Jazz music.

Sunday April 28

Don Campbell

Don is a graduate of the Humber College Jazz Guitar Program and is now establishing himself as a full-time musician in the Toronto music scene. He is currently writing and arranging originals while performing with his band as well as playing acoustic shows, jazz combos, rock cover bands and even doing occasional studio work. Don is a multi-talented guitar player who plays with a combination of a rock sound reminiscent of Stevie Ray Vaughan, a blues sound influenced by Eric Clapton and a jazz style that pays homage to the likes of John Scofield and Wes Montgomery.

Reservations are required for this event. Reservations can be made online at the links above, or by phone at 905-527-1158 ext 330. Reservation tickets will be emailed to the address provided for any reservations made online. Please bring these either printed, or presented digitally on your personal device upon arrival on the day of the event.

Changes / Cancellations >>

For reservation changes or cancellation, please call (905) 527-1158 Ext 330 a minimum of 48 hrs in advance of the reservation.

The Jazz Brunch Series is a very important part of our Rock Garden Cafe programming and a favourite at the Royal Botanical Gardens. As there are only a limited number of seats available we often fill early in the week before the performance and are forced to turn away attendees. As such, we ask all patrons to please be cognizant of this and if plans change cancel their reservations or adjust the number of expected guests as early as possible by calling (905) 527-1158 ext. 330. Please leave a message with the name on the reservation to be cancelled or the change on the number of guests in your party. We can then open reservations to patrons that have been unsuccessful at booking earlier in the week.

Brunch begins at 11 a.m. Please ensure your party arrives promptly at this time to be seated.

This event is held at Rock Garden, located at 1185 York Boulevard, Hamilton Ontario. Parking is included, available in the designated lot across the street.

Rock Garden is located along bus routs for Burlington Transit, with stops a short distance from the entrance. See rbg.ca/directions for more details.

Payment >>

No payment is required to make a reservation. Payment is accepted on the day of the event via major credit cards, debit, or cash. HST applies, gratuity not included in above pricing. Parties of 6 or more carry an automatic gratuity of 15%. Alcoholic beverages are not included in the brunch pricing, but available for an additional cost.

The brunch menu does include options for vegetarian diets. Please note that our kitchen is NOT a peanut free facility. If you have a nut allergy please call us at 905-527-1158.
