Nature Babies
For Age 0-12 months
RBG offers an introduction to outdoor experiences for 0-12-month-olds! Join us with your little ones throughout the spring as we explore and experience our natural world. Move, create, and discover during our afternoon early-years programs for infants and caregivers.
Oaks & Acorns Early-Years Play
For Age 2-5
Held in the mornings behind the Nature Centre in our Natural Play Space, this nature-based program for 2-5 year-olds is designed to inspire a life-long love of the outdoors. Explore the natural world together through walks, storytelling, imaginative and loose parts play, and hands-on discovery.
Family Birding
Grab your binoculars and bring the family! Join instructors and other bird lovers for a hands-on birding adventure. You’ll learn how to identify different species by noticing their colours, sizes, shapes, behaviours, habitats, and songs — a great way to explore nature together.
Childrens' Gardening Programs
These hands-on programs are planned to take advantage of seasonal changes and local expertise to create age-appropriate experiences with a goal to inspire a lifelong love of gardening.

Jr. Naturalists
Age 6-13
Nature lovers are encouraged to sign up for this once-a-month program where they’ll be immersed in the natural world throughout the year. Prepare for fun and adventure while exploring the ravines, forests, fields, and wetlands of RBG.
