The Great Pumpkin Trail - Both Nights Sold Out

Dates: Thursday October 22 and Friday October 23

It’s a magical evening on the Pumpkin Trail! Hundreds of jack-o-lanterns light your way along our garden and woodland trail. Enjoy live entertainment, face painting and pumpkin-themed activities.

Note: only a ¼ km loop of the Pumpkin Trail is fully wheelchair accessible and stroller-friendly. The remainder includes some stairs and rough terrain.

Prices:
Guests 12 and over are $15.00 (Members 10% off)
Children between the ages of 1 and 11 years old are $8.00 (Members 10% off)
Children under 1 are free with ticket purchase.

You must pre-register for a timeslot to this event. Please bring your admission tickets with you to the event.
Walks take place every 10 minutes starting at 6 p.m.
Please note: Dogs are not permitted at this event.

Crystal Ball Juggling:

Keep your eyes open for the mesmerizing, gravity-defying, awe-inspiring crystal ball juggler as they make their way through Hendrie Park.

Face Painting:

Need to complete your costume? Get your face painted with Face The Art!

Cone Crafts:

Get creative and make your own creepy creature or precious pumpkin at our craft station.

Pumpkin Patch:

Explore the wonders of pumpkins and meet farmer Aly in the Children’s Garden.

Batty for Bats:

Join the Canadian Wildlife Federation to discover the mosquito-munching magnificence of our favourite nighttime friends and learn what you can do to protect them! Visit www.helpthebats.ca for more details.

Fall Field Games:

Enjoy a fall festive game of tic tac toe, pumpkin bocce, and more!

The Campfire Crew

6:30pm – 7:00 and 7:30pm – 8:00pm

The Campfire Crew sing their hearts out bringing old favourites to life while creating original kids’ music that inspires silliness and singing. Multiple award-winning children’s recording artist, Andrew Queen and his songwriting partner, Karen Stille craft an interactive musical storytelling performance sure to invoke the magic & memories of summer camp.

Join Professor Pumpkin and her gourd student, Jacki Lantern, as they conduct some ghoulish experiments.

FireGuy

7:15pm – 7:30pm and 8:15pm – 8:30pm

FireGuy has a Burning Desire to Entertain! A world travelling fire performer he always ignites interest.

You'll see juggling fire on a motorized board, fire eating and a custom LED light display. He's performed halftime shows for the Raptors and breathed fire for Jackie Chan. FireGuy always makes an "Ash" out of himself. Come see his claim to Flame!

The Haunted Grill

5:30pm-8:30pm

Hinton Court (next to main entrance of Main Centre)

Purchase some worms and eyeballs (aka spaghetti and meatballs) and other delicious items prior to your walk time.

Hula Hoop Dancer:

Get hoop-notized as a hula hoop artist lights up the garden with a ‘hip’ roaming performance.

Turkey Rhubarb

6:30pm – 7:00 and 7:30pm – 8:00pm

Turkey Rhubarb is Dale Behnke (mandolin), Gerry Dion (guitar) and Paul Fralick (guitar). They sing in English, French and Spanish; and perform traditional children’s songs from North America, Mexico, Antigua, England, Scotland and Ireland. Their music is for dancing, clapping and singing along.
