Ticketing Terms & Conditions
- Tickets purchased to RBG events are final sale and non-refundable. Full price tickets may be transferred to another person without restriction should you be unable to attend. Tickets purchased with a member discount are transferable solely to another active RBG member. All active RBG members must present their valid RBG membership card and photo ID at event entry with any discounted event ticket. Please keep your tickets and confirmation: it is proof of your purchase and allows entry into the experience.
- Member Ticket Transfer Limitations: When discounted RBG member tickets are transferred between members, the tickets must correspond to the recipient’s membership level and ticket allotment. A member may only receive discounted tickets up to the maximum number permitted by their membership tier. For example, a Single Membership holder may receive only one discounted ticket through any transfer. Any additional tickets beyond the recipient’s membership allotment must be repurchased at the full regular price.

About The Barr Brothers
It’s been eight years since Montreal’s The Barr Brothers released a full-length album. In that time, life pulled them in new directions – personally and professionally – altering the way they make music together. Their fourth studio album, Let it Hiss, isn’t just a new collection of songs. It’s a document of transformation. The making of this record marked a pivotal shift: a pause for reflection, a reckoning with vulnerability, and a reconnection between the two brothers who’ve spent over three decades making music side by side.
“In 2022, we found ourselves at a breaking point,” says Brad Barr, the band’s guitarist, vocalist, and primary songwriter. “It was clear something had to change. The real story of this record is the story of that change and everything that came after.”
“Let it Hiss is what happened when we stopped pretending everything was fine and finally listened to what was actually going on”, says Andrew.
Certainly, Let it Hiss foregrounds a sense of joyous abandon that wasn’t as perceptible on previous Barr Brothers records—you can hear it in the open-road anthem “Run Right Into It” (featuring Land of Talk’s Elizabeth Powell) and the playful garage-band reggae of “She Doesn’t Sleep With the Covers On.” But Let it Hiss doesn’t completely abandon the intimate storytelling on which the Barrs’ brand was built: “English Harbour” is a gorgeous folk hymn illuminated by harmonies from former tour mate Jim James of My Morning Jacket, and “Moonbeam” is a lush, string-swept soul serenade given an extra touch of class by a Francophone guest vocal from Quebecois art-pop shapeshifter Klô Pelgag.
Let it Hiss doesn’t resolve so much as reveal. It invites listeners to lean in – to the hiss, the weight, the wonder. As the Barr Brothers move forward, one thing is clear: they’ve found each other again and in doing so they found their way back to the music.

Tickets
Your tickets will be emailed to you as a PDF attachment shortly after online payment. You will be required to present these tickets upon arrival, either printed out or digitally on your personal device. Tickets are final sale.
Directions & Parking
Concerts in the Garden is held in Hendrie Park. Parking is included, available in the large lot at RBG Centre, 680 Plains Road W. Burlington Ontario. Enter through RBG Centre and access the garden via the Hendrie Park tunnel (staff will provide direction upon arrival). NOTE: Hendrie Park is NOT accessible via the “Cherry Hill” trailhead parking lot.
This garden is located along bus routes for Burlington Transit, with stops a short distance from the entrance. See rbg.ca/directions for more details.
Stage Location
The stage is located in “Mitchell’s Field,” a grassy event space with a natural slope perfect for concert viewing.
Enter at RBG Centre and proceed through the building (through the Atirum) to the tunnel leading to Hendrie Park. Look for signage, staff and volunteers to help point the way. The stage is approximately a 500m walk from the RBG Centre entrance.
Seating
Seating is general admission, and first-come first-served. Chairs are not provided. Guests are asked to bring their own foldable lawn chairs, blankets, and cushions for turf seating.
Food & Drink
Concessions will be open with grab and go fare available for purchase. This is a licensed event; alcoholic beverage will be available for purchase for those age 19+. A valid ID is required for beverage purchase.
Outside food and drink is not permitted.

NOTE: Bags will be checked upon arrival.
- Make sure to bring your own chair, blanket or cushion for use on turf as seating is NOT provided.
- Pack layers for cool evenings

Washrooms are located close to the performance area, just outside the Turner Pavilion Teahouse, and inside RBG Centre on the lowest floor of the Atrium.

Accessibility
RBG welcomes the use of personal assistive devices that allow visitors to enjoy our facilities and services. The stage is located in Mitchell’s Field in Hendrie Park, and is accessible by paved pathways.

For convenience RBG has a limited number of wheelchairs available for loan. Wheelchairs are available on a first come basis and may not be reserved in advance. It is recommended guests bring their own wheelchairs.

Recommended Age
Concerts in the Garden performances are designed with an adult audience in mind; however, guests of all ages are welcome to attend when accompanied by an adult. All attendees require a ticket for entry, and children may attend using a standard adult ticket.
