Whether you are planning a small intimate setting of 30 or a large wedding of 300, Royal Botanical Gardens has the right location for your ceremony & reception. Our on site exclusive caterers offer a diverse variety of menus to meet your needs and budget. All “inclusive” packages are available.
Hold your ceremony at the same location as your reception and photography.
Royal Court
Royal Court is a private outdoor area that can seat up to 120 guests. Its colourful plants and ornamental ponds provide a quaint garden setting for your ceremony. A canopy provides shade and protection from rain.
Rose Garden Tent
Rose Garden Tent is nestled in the Hendrie Park Gardens and can seat up to 300 guests. What could be more picturesque than the many blooms and plants surrounding your memorable day.
Rose Garden Tent is available from the end of May until October.
Cherry Hill
The Cherry Hill is located just inside Hendrie Park gates. The area is adorned by a number of mature trees, shrubs, & plants. The perfect size for the smaller wedding which will seat up to 100 guests.

All ceremony locations include the following:

- Additional tables
- And of course a spectacular view
*up to 150 chairs for the Rose Garden Tent. If more chairs are required, RBG will rent on your behalf at an additional charge of $3 per chair.
Royal Botanical Gardens offers three very different settings for your perfect reception.
The Gardens Café
Garden Café is the perfect setting for the smaller and more intimate style reception. This location can seat from 30 guests to 90 guests with access to the dance floor & windows overlooking Spicer Court.
Main Ballroom
Main Ballroom can easily seat up to a guest list of 275.
Just before entering the hall, your guests can mingle in the foyer with hors d’oeuvres and cocktails.
Once inside the Ballroom your guests have exclusive access to the Royal Court where they can enjoy the night air while still under cover.
Camilla & Peter Dalglish Atrium
Camilla & Peter Dalglish Atruim is the newest addition to the Royal Botanical Gardens. This award winning structure is a unique and spectacular setting, that brings outdoor beauty indoors. Two enormous living walls as your head table back drop. This location also has its own private courtyard called Aldershot Escarpment Garden. Complete with a border of flowers and plants as well as serene water features including a stunning back-lit waterfall.
Our exclusive caterer can customize any menu to suit your needs and budget.

Our colourful array of blooms is a beautiful backdrop to your wedding photos. Spectacular outdoor gardens are available from May until October.
Mediterranean Gardens is an excellent indoor option choice just in case Mother Nature doesn’t cooperate. We have brought some outdoor beauty inside so you can still capture those garden photos.
Hendrie Park's Rose Garden is home to many fantastic features. For example our double reflecting ponds, the famous iron gates, fountains, bridges, the Medicinal Gardens and of course acres of incredible flowers and plants.
The iconic Rock Garden and the serene Laking Gardens offers some very unique & picturesque shots for the perfect wedding album.
Up to 20 people can take part in the photography session. If you have a booked ceremony & reception here at the Gardens, then your photography registration fee will be waived.
