Winter Wonders: Daytime Activities
Join us for the day at the Gardens! Enjoy a wintery stroll through Hendrie Park or the historic Rock Garden, a visit to Shop at the Gardens, and more.
RBG Centre & Hendrie Park hours:
November 23 to January 7
- Monday to Wednesday: Open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., last admission is at 4 p.m.
- Thursday to Sunday: Open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., last admission is at 3 p.m.
- The Gardens will reopen for Winter Wonders from 5 to 10 p.m. Winter Wonders tickets required.
- Closed December 25, 26, January 1. Reduced hours December 24 and 31 (10 a.m. to 3 p.m.)

Botanical Train Display
The Botanical Train display returns to RBG Centre! Constructed from over seven tons of cedar slabs, 3,000 pounds of rock and 250 feet of track, the Botanical Train Show features model trains amongst famous Canadian landmarks from coast to coast!

Ride the RBG Express
All aboard! Take a ride on the RBG Express through the winter beauty of Hendrie Park. The train is available for paid rides throughout the garden.
$10 per train car (for a maximum of 4 people per car). General Admission or Membership also applies.
First train is at 10:15 a.m., last train is at 2:45 p.m.

RBG’s nature sanctuaries feature more than 27 km of nature trails in Burlington & Hamilton, with three major trailheads. Find your route with maps and more at rbg.ca/onthetrails.
