Ride the RBG Express
Event Description
All aboard! Take a ride on the RBG Express through the winter beauty of Hendrie Park. The train is available for paid rides throughout the garden. Warm up with a hot chocolate and cookie from The Greenhouse Café before or after your train ride! (Food & Drink not included in cost of ride).
Train is first come, first served. Tickets may sell out before the experience is over for the day. RBG reserves the right to cancel this experience in the event of inclement weather without notice.
Available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the dates specified below.

Tickets
$5 per car (for a maximum of 4 people per car).
A train ticket must be purchased from the kiosk at the front doors of the Main Centre and presented to train conductor. This ride is first come, first served.
Maximum of 48 cars sold per day. RBG reserves the right to cancel this experience without notice.
Your visit will also require General Admission or Membership.
In Hendrie Park
This display is placed in Hendrie Park. Park and enter at RBG Centre, 680 Plains Road W. Burlington.
Our largest cultivated garden area, Hendrie Park has something for everyone. This garden truly illustrates the diversity of both plants and garden design.

Tickets

Please note, the train is not operating December 24, December 25, December 26, December 31, and January 1 as well as most Mondays and Tuesdays.

Yes, a mask is required while on the train.

Parking & Directions
This activity is held in Hendrie Park. Please enter through RBG Centre at 680 Plains Road W. Burlington Ontario. Parking is included, available in the large lot at RBG Centre. This garden is located along bus routes for Burlington Transit, with stops a short distance from the entrance. See rbg.ca/directions for more details.

As part of our commitment and shared responsibility for the health and safety of our guests, staff and volunteers, we ask that event attendees perform a self assessment to help reduce the spread of COVID – 19 prior to entering the event. Should you feel ill please stay home and contact your health care provider. Your tickets can be transferred to other family members or friends (no transfer fee required) or you can attend on another day of your choosing.
