Inclement weather date: July 17.

About Nadia Cavallin
Nadia Cavallin is the Field Botanist and Herbarium Curator at Royal Botanical Gardens. Her team keeps track of the plants growing wild at RBG, documenting them with specimens in the herbarium. The Botany team also researches plant-related questions needed to manage RBG’s natural areas for conserving biodiversity, and leads plant identification workshops.
Nadia received her B.Sc. from McGill University, specializing in Biodiversity and Conservation in the School of Environment, and her M.Sc. in Biology from the University of Moncton. After work, Nadia enjoys growing a native plant garden in her small, urban yard and a large vegetable garden in a bigger, borrowed yard.
