Garden Movie Night: Halloween Edition

Tickets are available for purchase online, payable by credit card. Your tickets will be emailed to you as a pdf attachment shortly after online payment. You will be required to present these tickets upon arrival, either printed out or digitally on your personal device.

This event is held at Hendrie Park. Parking is included in the ticket price. Due to a function taking place in RBG Centre, ticketholders are to park in the small lot at 1101 Plains Road West and enter Hendrie Park through the service gate. Ticketholders can use RBG’s main parking lot for overflow parking.

Hendrie Park is located along bus routes for Burlington Transit, with stops a short distance from the entrance. See Directions & Parking for more details.

Seating is general admission, and first-come first-served. Chairs are not provided for this event. Guests are asked to bring blankets, cushions, or pillows for turf seating. For those unable to sit for longer periods on the turf, lawn chairs are permitted and a section at the back of the turf is reserved for chairs only.

Grab some sips and bites to enjoy before the movie! Concessions by the Rose Tent will be open with grab and go fare available for purchase.

Washrooms are available just outside the Turner Pavilion Teahouse. Please note, there will be no access into RBG Centre on this evening.

We are able to execute this event in light rain, anything more and it’s not a pleasant experience for everyone. Wind is also a factor that will be considered.

If the weather conditions are not ideal, this event will be postponed to Friday October 7th. Any changes will be communicated to ticket holders as soon as possible. RBG reserves the right to cancel the event due to inclement weather. Only if the event is canceled will ticketholders receive a full refund.

RBG welcomes the use of personal assistive devices that allow visitors to enjoy our facilities and services. The movie screening is located in Mitchell’s Field in Hendrie Park, and is accessible by paved pathways with a ~350m walk from the service gate.

Mitchell’s Field is a large, open lawn area with a natural slope.

For convenience RBG has a limited number of wheelchairs available for loan. Wheelchairs are available on a first come basis and may not be reserved in advance. It is recommended guests bring their own wheelchairs.

With the exception of service animals, personal dogs/cats/animals are not permitted at this event.

Effective May 5, visitors are no longer required to wear masks at Royal Botanical Gardens.

As part of our commitment and shared responsibility for the health and safety of our guests, staff and volunteers, we ask that guests perform a self assessment to help reduce the spread of COVID – 19 prior to your visit. Should you feel ill please stay home and contact your health care provider. Your tickets can be transferred to other family members or friends (no transfer fee required).

Tickets purchased to special events are final sale and non-refundable. Tickets can be transferred to someone else if you can no longer attend. Please keep your tickets and confirmation: it is proof of your purchase and allows entry into the event.
