We have recently updated our school program website to serve you better: introducing RBG’s New Teacher Portal. On this site you will find program descriptions complete with curriculum links, educational resources, as well as a new online registration tool.
RBG recognizes the rising costs of educational activities, and we have frozen our prices in 2012/13 to reflect those in 2011/12. Additionally, to increase the level of customer service we can offer to our school and youth program visitors, RBG made an investment in our teaching staff by hiring full-time trained and educated resource interpreters, and a fully-bilingual French interpreter. RBG offers a range of conducted programs that use these teaching staff. As a not-for-profit institution we are dedicated to keeping these programs as affordable as possible. The facilitated half-day courses that are conducted in our classrooms and on our natural lands are priced at $7.50/student and special programs at $8.50/student. These programs offer students an unique opportunity to experience nature, see science in action and foster a love for the great outdoors – all in the context of curriculum-based subjects. The prices reflect the costs involved with using RBG staff dedicated to these programs. Any reduction in price would mean a reduction in the quality of our offer. Please think of RBG as an extension of your classroom learning environment – come join us in our outdoor learning laboratory!
