Spring floods send a signal to many fish species that it's time to move upstream to spawn. These species are the earliest to spawn. They can all be seen up close at Royal Botanical Gardens at the Cootes Paradise Fishway. Check out the schedule on our Web site. The Fishway is also open for tours on Sundays on April 4 and 18, May 9 and 30, and June 13 and 27.
