The Discovery Cart is lending out Discovery Packs. Designed for ages 3 to 5, 6 to 8 and 9 to 11, these packs can be picked up and returned to the Discovery Cart. Borrow your choice of Insect or Plant pack complete with activity pages, insect nets, insect jars and identification guides.
Rainforest Adventure
10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Hendrie Park
New this summer! Find your way through our new Rainforest Adventure while swinging like a monkey and leaping like a lemur! Then join a Rainforest interpreter at the Discovery tent to meet a cockroach, go on a beastie scavenger hunt, or make your own rainforest creation.
Discovery tent is open 10:30 a.m to 4:30 p.m. (after Labour Day is only open on Sundays). Visit Rainforest Adventure for a list of our daily programs.
