Xylophone Bells
by Jean Pierre Schoss
I work in multimedia, recycled oil tanks and propane tanks. I like to create things that people can enjoy that reflect our Canadian culture. These xylophone bells are made from recycled propane tanks. I plasma cut, weld, grind and paint the tanks into a new form. The sounds the bells make seem to be connected to nature. Anyone can play them. The sounds are soft and melodious and carry for surprisingly long distances. Enjoy!
All works are for sale (visit the gift shop at RBG Centre).
