Registration Information
Our
event is now over, and registration is closed. Thank you for your
interest.
To save paper and
ensure accurate registration, we are asking our participants to
register on-line, using e-registernow. This secure system will record
the details of your registration and also accept payment with credit cards.
Our most up to
date listing of symposium events, our daily agendas, can be found on
the links at the left (posted 13 February 2010).
Details of our
registration packages:
1. Pre-Meeting Workshops
We are offering
four different workshops on Tuesday February 16th. Two workshops are
being offered in the morning, and two in the afternoon. Please
register for each workshop you would like to attend.
2. Symposium Registration
You can register
for the entire three day symposium event, or individual days during
our program.
All registrations
for the three day symposium package or the day registration for
Wednesday February 17th include admission to the special keynote
lecture Wednesday evening. The public can also purchase tickets to
the evening separately.
All registrations
for the three day symposium package or the day registration for
Thursday February 18th include admission to the reception Thursday night.

Registration Fees
Earlybird Discount
We hope you will
register early, so we’re offering an 8% discount on all of our
registration packages if purchased before January 25, 2010.
Members’ Discount
We’re pleased
to offer a 10% discount on all of our registration packages to
members of Royal Botanical Gardens and to members of Landscape
Ontario. This discount is in addition to the Earlybird Discount.
Seniors (aged 65 and over) and students are offered the same discount
rate but you must provide proof of age when you pick up your
registration materials. To qualify for the Members’ Discount you
must provide you valid membership number.
Walk-Ins
A limited number
of walk-in registrations may be available for each event. However, as
we have to pre-arrange catering and other services before the meeting
starts, we cannot guarantee that there will be space in any
particular part of our program without advance registration.

4. The Fine Print
Please read the
following before registering.
Liability:
Royal Botanical
Gardens assumes no responsibility for loss or damage to property, or
for personal injury or mishap as a result of participation in our
programs and events; all activities are at the risk of the participant.
Cancellation,
refunds and receipts:
Up to 14 days
before the event for which you have registered, all cancellation by
registrants are subject to a 25% cancellation fee. No other refunds
of any kind will be made after the registration deadline. Should RBG
cancel a program, registrants will be notified by phone and credits
or refunds issued. It is vital that you supply phone numbers where we
can reach you both during the day, and in the evening or on weekends,
directly or by recorded message. We will not accept responsibility
for inconvenience caused to those we cannot contact. Please print
your receipt and confirmation: it is proof of your registration.

Weather cancellations:
Most programs run
rain or shine, however, in the event of severe weather some courses
may be postponed or cancelled. If a program is cancelled or postponed
due to snow or thunderstorms, a message will be posted on the Program
Update Line at (905) 527-1158 ext. 404 at least one to two hours
before the program is due to start. If the weather seems
questionable, it is your responsibility to verify that your program
is being offered; though we try to call everyone, we are not always
able to reach all participants due to the short notice involved.
Member discounts:
RBG members, and
members of Landscape Ontario, receive a substantial discount on our
registration fees provided that registrations are received on or
before the registration deadline. Please register early because after
the deadline, the non-member fee applies to everyone. For membership
