Volume 1, Number 4, March, 1997: The paper edition of this issue is a reprint of Dr Peter Wyse Jackson's article Botanic Gardens and the Convention on Biological Diversity in its entirety. We have reprinted the article to reach as large an audience as possible with this important and informative review of the ways in which botanical gardens can contribute to the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity.
